Description:

As a Graphic Design Assistant, you have a unique opportunity to develop a wide-ranging creative and strategic marketing communications skillset. The ideal candidate for this role is detail oriented with 3-5 years of professional experience in the design and project management of business-to-business marketing communications materials. Supporting the marketing communications function for a strategic business unit, you will contribute to the creative design and implementation of both internal and external communications that will enable growth and engagement. This role is best suited for quick-to-learn candidates interested in growing their careers as professional communicators.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design of Print and Digital Media
o Working with the Sr Communications Leader for the global business, you will work on creative projects including the design of sales collateral, social media creative (static and video), customer presentations, print ads, and tradeshow graphics.
o Collaborate with Key Accounts and Segment Managers to understand the business and identify customer communication needs, and promote the products and strategic business value proposition internally and externally with key stakeholders including customers, social media followers, trade media, etc.
o Skill set includes Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and PowerPoint.

Manage the Sales Enablement Tool/SHOWPAD:
o Manage organization of shared drive and DAM system, upload all new content.
o Host new training with sales teams globally for self-service.
o Obtain regular users by the end of 2023 with Shared Spaces for each Key Account
o Continue to promote the usage of sales enablement tools.

Digital Marketing Development
o Collaborate with Senior Communications Leader, sales team, and key account (KA) teams, and actively market key brands using a digital activation strategy.
o Social Media/Marketing Automation
o Collaborate with the digital agency on campaign execution.
o Support the development of key account digital marketing campaigns.
o Support the content calendar development that reflects business strategic goals, segments, leadership stories, technical service, innovation, etc. with the Sr Communications leader and PR agency.
o Grow social media channels to increase followers and engagement.
o Lead management: streamline all marketing qualified leads (MQL) and capture them in a prospect database. Manage to assign MQLs to leaders and track with CE the next steps in Client Link.
Website
o Recommend and support communications strategies that Increase web traffic to the Packaging site.
o Regularly update blog posts and manage website content updates when needed.
o Update the contact form with a HUBSPOT solution to capture and track all leads from our website.
o Develop and proactively share Google Analytics/HubSpot platform digital metrics monthly.

Tradeshow/Events
o Support Senior Communications Manager in event coordination of leadership team meetings, key customer events, industry tradeshows and conferences, and colorful communities’ events.
o This includes agenda development, pre-show planning, and logistics, event coordination, marketing signage, collateral, samples, email invitations, hotel and registration coordination, and budgeting.o Plan regional town halls, create meeting cadence for 2023, improve communications on Teams, and set up a plan for metrics and internal business communication.
o Leadership Team Meetings
o Key Account Visits / Meetings
o Key industry trade shows globally
o Strategic customer meetings

Marketing Communications Budget / Finance / Accounting
o Create and track marketing purchase orders.
o Encourage suppliers to stay up to date on all payments.
o Work with Senior Communications Leader, track budget and report out status by channel of spend on a quarterly basis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications, marketing, or related field. Two+ years’ experience preferred.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
  • Design/video editing skills
  • Advanced knowledge of all office products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).
  • Good writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Hybrid-based role with the ability to work 40hrs/week with 2 days/week at the office in downtown Pittsburgh
