Graphic Design Assistant



  • Create designs for use across print, video, web, and social media using established graphic elements in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • Collaborate with AM team for design edits and suggestions
  • Be creative while working within the JMU brand
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
  • Current JMU student who qualifies for Federal Work Study
  • Capable of designing in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • Detailed-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following is helpful: AP style, Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, Lightroom Classic, photography experience

Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
