Umm is seeking creative, resourceful, and talented individuals to join the team. This opportunity offers a recent graduate valuable experience in the professional arena of marketing and graphic design and will offer the opportunity to have your work published online. As our Graphic Design Intern, you would get the exciting job of helping us develop the personality and tell the story of our brand visually.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Assist the Marketing team in conceptualizing and designing various ads, social media posts, digital content, etc.
- Utilize graphic design software to create social media posts, promotional images, and imagery for social media, in-app, advertisement, and website use.
- Create art and graphic designs from the design stage to the final product based on requested concepts, seasonal events, and/or prompts.
- Follow branding guidelines to create a consistent theme across visual work.
- Participate in team meetings to identify upcoming projects, goals, and progress.
- Communicate with the team about deliverables and analyze feedback.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and/or Canva
- Ability to create content utilizing color consistency, patterns, bold colors, and free from gradients
- Ability to create posts that are both dynamic and static while incorporating texture and color layering to create overall unique and distinct designs
- Some familiarity with social media as well as current trends
- Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Self-starter who can deliver work without supervision.
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiar with video and content editing
- Basic knowledge of marketing strategies and techniques
- Experience in full life cycle project management.
