Cousin Corporation of America is currently seeking an Illustrator/Graphic Artist to add to our growing Creative Department! The ideal candidate has a great attitude, is extremely creative, works well with deadlines and enjoys handling multiple projects. Must thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Key Responsibilities:
- Create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts that align with CousinDIY brand identity.
- Design engaging materials for both digital platforms and print, including brochures, presentations, and project visuals.
- Ensure consistency in branding across all visual elements.
- Assist in the creation of tech packs (provide renderings with color, material and size specs) for product development to explain designs to a manufacturer so that they can turn this information into a finished product.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Communicate design concepts effectively and incorporate feedback.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies.
- Bring fresh and innovative ideas to the design team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or Illustrator, preferably in consumer products.
- Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design and illustration work.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
