This role is responsible to create and develop designs to support our ecommerce store and B2B/B2C consumer events. The Graphic Designer (Store and Events) will be responsible for contributing innovative design thinking and creative problem solving for design projects including apparel graphics, digital marketing assets: ads, banners, emails, sales pages and trade show booth graphics and marketing materials.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to company success by providing subject matter expertise in the development of creative ideation and execution.
  • Ideate and develop illustration artwork and new designs and templates that align with established brand style guidelines and business objectives for various e-commerce initiatives and consumer events. Edit existing designs to ensure visual style consistency.
  • Create product apparel designs, infographics, product detail pages, emails, promotional, and social graphics.
  • Create “wow” trade show booth aesthetic and concise, informative marketing support materials.
  • Identify and offer solutions or improvements for creative and business challenges.
  • Successfully prioritize assignments and manage appropriate timelines and deliverables with attention to detail.
  • Think outside the box to generate ideas that will achieve the predetermined goals.
  • Maintain a pulse on the industry and best practices, and adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Excel at website design including wireframing and UX design.
  • Constantly look for ways to improve user experience and marketing messaging.
  • Hungry to remain immersed in proven marketing strategy and driven by performance, not by what “looks cool.”
  • Use data and analytics to guide decisions.

Skills/Abilities and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, web design or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven work experience as a designer; 2+ years of experience in design or marketing. Experience working in an agency or collaborative team environment is preferred.
  • Must provide electronic portfolio examples of strongly executed work and compelling visual designs with resume/application submission.
  • Experience in conversion rate optimization.
  • Have the ability to make strategic and logical decisions on imagery and artwork that properly depicts our audience and subject matter.
  • Desire and ability to expand beyond the traditional designer role by also implementing designs within marketing tools to include: email, event and website platforms.
  • Experience with reading and designing trade show booths based on renderings preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and new technologies is essential.
  • Conversant in current web design/development tools, trends, web standards and platforms.
  • Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite to produce web layouts, graphics, and assets.
  • Experience utilizing Braze and WooCommerce is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is a necessity.
