Shutterstock Studios is seeking a visionary and dynamic VP, Head of Global Sales to spearhead the commercial growth and revenue operations for its creative production division. As the top sales leader, you will be at the helm of a high-performing, global team responsible for driving revenue through branded content, production services, and integrated marketing solutions.

You will work directly with the SVP of Shutterstock Studios to architect and execute a bold, multi-year growth strategy and redefine how global brands engage with scalable, creative content solutions. This role is a perfect fit for an innovative and strategic operator who is deeply embedded in creative commerce, thrives in high-growth environments, and leads with both creativity and data-driven precision.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Revenue Ownership:

  • Lead global new business and account management teams, shaping a clear and bold sales vision

  • Own and deliver on global revenue targets with rigorous tracking and forecasting

  • Design and implement high-impact sales strategies, from vertical targeting to compensation frameworks

Client & Partnership Development:

  • Build strong relationships with tier-1 clients, agencies, and key channel partners

  • Expand business through strategic partnerships, reseller networks, and new growth models

Sales Team Development & Culture:

  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier sales talent

  • Foster a resilient and performance-driven team culture

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Production, Marketing, Product) to deliver holistic, client-centric solutions

  • Work closely with senior leadership to guide the long-term business and commercial roadmap


Candidate Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in enterprise and services-based sales

  • At least 5 years of team leadership experience and 2+ years in senior commercial leadership roles

Skillset & Qualities:

  • Proven success scaling sales teams and building revenue infrastructure from the ground up

  • Deep understanding of creative commerce, branded content, and production services

  • High proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning

  • Globally minded, adaptable, and experienced in managing hybrid regional teams

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative mindset, and a no-ego approach to leadership

  • Bonus: Experience selling into Fortune 500 marketing organizations or leading multinational sales teams
