Polaris Inc., a global leader in powersports innovation and product excellence, is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to support its Digital & Information Technology and Legal corporate functions. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence talent strategy, build high-performing teams, and shape the organization’s culture, processes, and structure from within a dynamic and innovative environment.
As an HR Manager, you will serve as a strategic business partner and change agent, partnering closely with senior leaders to align human resources strategies with business objectives. Your work will span across talent management, organizational design, cultural transformation, and delivery of core HR programs. The role requires high levels of agility, business acumen, and cross-functional collaboration.
1. Talent Management
Lead workforce planning, recruitment strategies, and onboarding processes to attract top talent.
Drive leadership development and career pathing for high-potential employees.
Own and guide the employee development planning process at both team and individual levels.
Champion succession planning through the identification and development of future leaders.
2. Organizational Development
Partner with leadership to design and optimize team structure and workflow (headcount, span of control, and functional alignment).
Support role clarity, performance frameworks, and work execution strategies.
Develop and implement a strategic build-vs-buy talent acquisition approach.
Drive process optimization and technology adoption for efficiency and scalability.
3. Culture & Engagement
Actively foster a high-engagement culture aligned with Polaris’ core values.
Coach leaders on behavioral expectations, inclusive leadership, and employee well-being.
Lead initiatives that enhance employee morale, team integration, and recognition.
Serve as a visible, trusted resource within the team for real-time issue resolution and continuous feedback.
4. HR Functional Excellence
Execute core HR processes, including performance management, compensation planning, employee relations, and compliance.
Leverage HRIS and data analytics to drive business insights and operational improvements.
Act as a trusted advisor and coach to all levels of the organization.
Facilitate ongoing strategic alignment through participation in leadership meetings and planning sessions.
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
7+ years of progressive HR experience, including prior business partner responsibility
Demonstrated success in HR program design, talent development, and organizational planning
Strong analytical capabilities and comfort with data-driven decisions
Experience in organizational change, OD, and cross-functional facilitation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems (Workday preferred)
Ability to manage multiple priorities within a matrixed, fast-paced environment
Hybrid work model based at Polaris headquarters in Medina, MN
Limited travel required (approximately 10%), mainly between local sites
Competitive salary range: $106,000 – $140,000/year
