Description:
Primary Talent Partners is seeking a skilled HR Compensation Analyst to join a leading power technology client in Nashville, TN. This is a 12-month on-site contract with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining employee records, analyzing compensation data, supporting HR operations, and ensuring compliance with organizational and legal standards. This position offers a fast-paced, professional environment where analytical and interpersonal skills are essential for success.
HR Records Management: Maintain and update employee records, personnel documentation, and background checks while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
Policy and Contract Administration: Act as an escalation point for HR policy interpretation, contract administration, and resolution of employee issues.
Employee Relations: Advise management on policy matters including equal employment opportunity, workplace conduct, and disciplinary procedures.
Conflict Resolution: Handle complex staffing situations including disputes, performance issues, and disciplinary actions.
Compensation Analysis: Plan, direct, and coordinate HR activities related to employee compensation, benefits, and labor relations.
Leadership and Guidance: Provide direction and mentorship to staff, ensuring alignment with HR and organizational goals.
Data and Reporting: Use advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLookups) for compensation analysis and reporting.
Representation: May represent the organization in HR-related meetings and cross-departmental initiatives.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
Experience:
3–5 years of HR or compensation experience preferred.
8–10 years of related customer service experience required.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLookups).
Solid understanding of compensation systems, benefits administration, and employment law.
Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Prior experience in compensation or stock plan administration is highly desirable.
Hours: Core hours 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Central Time)
Work Mode: On-site in Nashville, TN (some flexibility available)
Contract Type: W2 hourly contract, 12 months (possible extension)
Compensation: $36.00/hour (no PTO or standard benefits; optional ACA-compliant supplemental coverage)
