Description:

This position is responsible for day-to-day administration of programs that supports employees from onboarding to offboarding. They provide high-level support to the Human Resources Department by performing a variety of administrative tasks. The majority of duties performed are based on communication and information management which includes extending hospitality to guests, employees and community leaders as well as administering the charitable support program which sets the tone for our corporate citizenship.

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ROLE NEEDS IN GO-TO STATE:
 

  • Supports the overall Human Resources department by coordinating key initiatives around day-to-day employee activities such as: managing pricing and order submission of employee product sales, coordinates communication of Bravo notifications for milestone anniversaries and receives and processes As-Is payments.
  • Maintains a multi-line phone system, filtering all general calls to the appropriate department or providing customer service when appropriate.
  • Be the first point of contact upon arrival of location visitors such as: vendors, applicants, visitors and provides proper badging and PPE.
  • Communicates, manages, and coordinates events such as company events, location meals, give-a-ways, perfect attendance awards, etc
  • Orders, prepares and mails mass communication to employees while distributes external and internal mail accordingly and ongoing maintenance of postage machine.
  • Coordinate maintenance, cleanings, and appropriate scheduling of company vehicles. Coordinate drivers for pick convenient pick up of visitors if applicable.
  • Maintains copier / scanner and stock of office supplies for office personnel
  • Facilitates key community relations activities such approvals and distribution of La-Z-Boy Foundation donations, coordinates approvals, distribution of funds and response to community donation requests and serves as liaison to community organizations while coordinating monthly charitable donation programs.
  • Completes administrative support tasks such as developing agendas for meetings, development of presentation, manages lead team calendar and coordinates meals for onsite meetings

Scope & Impact

This position will impact the morale of La-Z-Boy employees through customer service abilities and resolutions. The position supports a campus of employees engaged in diversified manufacturing, technical, professional, and managerial activities. Must influence and coordinate with a significant number of management personnel in maintaining legal and ethical compliance. Provides primary support to the HR Department.
