Full Job Description

Responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business unit. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and its competition. Also responsible for the recruitment, communication and compliance of Ultra Electronic PCS N. America strategic goals and policy providing the business with the fuel to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary point of contact and support to employee base, providing guidance, service, information, problem-resolution, or channeling to the appropriate center of excellence for support
  • Serve as a member of the site’s senior leadership team and as a leader on human resource practices and strategies within the business, including a collaborative effort with global shared services
  • Participate in resource discussion and site-specific strategy creation to ensure workforce availability and budget is within reach of goals
  • Benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and terminations
  • Responsible for complete source recruitment (screening, selecting, hiring, and onboarding)
  • Respond to all employee inquiries promptly, with a focus on customer service, maintaining a positive attitude, and a high level of confidentiality
  • Investigate and resolve employee relation matters, with support of the senior management team
  • Communicate, interpret, and administer all HR policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with state and federal requirements
  • Assist in organizational training and development efforts
  • Build strong rapport with front line leadership and production associates
  • Maintain human resource and applicant tracking system
  • Payroll administration and time management system ensuring proper benefit accrual time
  • Support performance management initiatives through effective planning, communication, and tracking evaluations and compensation analysis
  • Assist with tracking and coordinating worker’s compensation, family medical leave, and safety at work programs
  • Assist in the maintenance of accounting processes, systems, and practices that record and track all transactions on a timely and accurate basis from source document through financial statement
  • Assist in various accounting responsibilities including processing invoices, reimbursements, ensuring each payroll journal populates correct and posting transactions to the appropriate accounts on the general ledger.
