The Illinois Department of Corrections is seeking to hire a highly motivated individual to work in a fast-paced Human Resources Office. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter and be excited to help current staff advance their career and prospective staff gain employment with our Agency. • Serves as a certified Statewide interviewer for Public Safety Agencies.
• Serves as a liaison to CMS, Agency Management, and field staff on issues relating to the Interview and Selection hiring process.
• Utilizes the computer to check for qualifications of applicants.
• Prepares confidential reports, spreadsheets and correspondence involving staffing plans, status of approvals and employee candidate information including confidential salary information.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
