Hybrid Audit Senior

Description:

CyberCoders is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Audit Senior to join their dynamic and growing team. The Audit Senior will play a key role in leading audit engagements, managing junior staff, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards, and delivering high-quality assurance services across diverse industries. This role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to work independently and in a team, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead audit engagements from planning to completion, including management of audit staff.

• Assess risks, develop audit plans, and ensure effective audit execution.

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP and other regulations.

• Communicate audit findings and provide actionable recommendations to clients and stakeholders.

• Train and mentor junior staff to strengthen their auditing expertise.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their operations and provide tailored solutions for process improvements.

• Stay informed about industry changes and evolving regulations to maintain compliance and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

• CPA certification preferred; CPA eligible or currently testing candidates will also be considered.

• 1–4 years of audit experience, preferably within a public accounting firm.

• Strong understanding of audit techniques and standards.

• Experience with financial audits and assurance services.

• Knowledge of non-profit organizations, employee benefits plans, construction, and manufacturing accounting is advantageous.

• Familiarity with CaseWare and PPC software preferred.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
