Id Grind Machinist

Description:

Regal Rexnord, a global industrial manufacturer, is seeking an ID Grind Machinist to join their team. This position is responsible for operating grinding machines to produce parts according to blueprint and engineering specifications. The role involves setting up and operating CNC ID grinding equipment, performing in-process quality inspections, and recommending process improvements to enhance part quality and reduce variation. The machinist will work on tasks such as mounting and calibrating attachments, dressing and changing wheels, and maintaining tolerances within 0.0003 inches.

The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience in grinding operations and be skilled in the use of inspection tools such as indicators and gages. They should be able to maintain close tolerances and understand machine tool accuracies. Familiarity with AS9100, 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma is a plus. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs (more with assistance).
