Description:
Merkury, dentsu’s global identity and data platform, is seeking an experienced VP, Identity & Data Solutions to lead and drive revenue growth across its identity, consumer data, activation, and data clean room products. This is a senior leadership role reporting to the VP, Solutions – Merkury, where you will collaborate with dentsu’s Growth, Client Service, and capability experts to deliver cutting-edge identity and data-driven solutions to major clients.
The role requires expertise in mar-tech and ad-tech platforms, identity resolution, and data strategies for marketing and media audience targeting. As VP, you will lead strategic sales initiatives, manage high-value client relationships, and create tailored solutions that address complex marketing and technology challenges in a rapidly evolving identity ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage new business opportunities, RFIs/RFPs, and upsell opportunities with senior-level clients.
Conduct early-stage discovery and analyze client goals, mar-tech stacks, and identity/data strategies.
Lead cross-functional teams to develop compelling Merkury product presentations and proposals.
Consult clients on identity management, real-time personalization, CRM, first-party data management, and customer targeting.
Develop and propose product/service pricing models aligned with client requirements.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards throughout contract processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
8+ years of experience in ad-tech, mar-tech, or agency data platform solutions, sales, or client service.
Strong experience in pricing, contracts, and negotiations for C-level engagements.
Proficiency with DMPs, CDPs, marketing clouds, and data cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake).
Expertise in identity and data solutions for analytics, measurement, and audience targeting.
Proven ability to collaborate with executives, partners, and cross-functional teams on complex sales opportunities.
Strong presentation and communication skills with ability to simplify complex technical topics.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, analytics, or technology (Master’s/MBA preferred).
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $163000 – $263350 per year (approx. $13583 – $21945 per month).
