Description:
As the first Implementation Manager for Gem’s Commercial segment (targeting startups, SMB, and mid-market companies with fewer than 2500 employees), you will own the end-to-end implementation process for Gem’s ATS and Scheduling products. This role is key to ensuring new customers experience fast and seamless onboarding, gaining quick time-to-value from Gem’s product suite.
Your mission is to build and optimize implementation and onboarding workflows tailored to high-growth companies, driving customer success by delivering excellent experiences and accelerating product adoption. You will act as the primary contact for customers during onboarding, developing strong relationships with Talent Leaders, Recruiting Operations, and Hiring Managers.
Plan and execute onboarding lifecycles, including migrations, integrations, training, and enablement, for startup, SMB, and mid-market clients purchasing Gem ATS and Scheduling.
Drive fast implementation projects to deliver rapid value and successful go-live experiences.
Become a product expert and trusted advisor, helping customers maximize the impact of Gem’s platform.
Proactively identify and solve implementation challenges to ensure smooth customer journeys.
Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders across client organizations.
Design, run, and scale training programs to support product adoption from 1:1 to larger group sessions.
Develop and refine processes, programs, and assets that enable scalability and efficiency.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Solutions Consulting, and Sales teams to improve implementation outcomes.
Minimum 3 years of experience implementing SaaS platforms, preferably for startup and SMB clients.
Proven success leading implementations of ATS platforms such as Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, or similar recruiting technologies.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously.
Comfort with ambiguity and complexity, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
Self-driven with initiative, autonomy, and a results-oriented approach.
Technical skills in data migration and integration management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
Deep understanding of ATS implementation best practices and recruiting workflows.
Experience tailoring implementations for fast-growing startups and SMB companies.
Knowledge of recruiting technology ecosystems and how Gem integrates with other tools.
Collaborative experience partnering with Talent and Recruiting Operations teams.
