Implementation Specialist

 

Description:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented IT Implementation Specialist to support their Inventory Management solution, business applications, and associated processes. This role focuses on evaluating, implementing, and maintaining solutions that align with best practices and business requirements. The ideal candidate will build effective business relationships and ensure seamless integration and performance of systems.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT implementation services and technical support for Inventory Management solutions, business applications, and processes.
  • Evaluate business requirements and propose system, data, technical, and integration solutions for the Procurement area.
  • Ensure data integrity from various sources and apply analytical and presentational techniques to enhance decision-making.
  • Take responsibility for understanding client requirements, delivering analysis, and recommending solutions to meet their needs.
  • Analyze business processes, identify alternative solutions, and recommend approaches aligned with organizational goals.
  • Document and communicate processes, specifications, and work instructions to stakeholders.
  • Design and manage tests for updated processes, ensuring operational readiness and successful system deployment.
  • Develop and implement business readiness plans, including IT deployment, data migration, and user training, to integrate new processes into standard operations.
  • Facilitate scoping and priority-setting for change initiatives, ensuring business requirements align with project objectives.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of test cases, producing reports and addressing issues during the testing phase.
  • Monitor service delivery performance metrics, ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Maintain application support processes and use tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics, and create reports.
  • Lead the assessment, documentation, and implementation of changes based on requests for change.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in IT implementation, support, or systems integration.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from conception to implementation, using a mix of internal, external, and off-shore resources.
  • Experience in documenting processes and facilitating user training.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to write reports and queries from multiple data sources and drive end-user reporting capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Inventory Management best practices, including:
  • BOM Management (part numbers, quantity, and component relationships).
  • Inventory transactions (scrap, receive, issue, replenish, transfer, and returns).
  • Work Order Management (creation, scheduling, and tracking).
  • Integration between Oracle Fusion and Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Knowledge of system integration and EDI transactions.
