Ethen Ostroff Law is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant / Mail Clerk to support our growing legal team. This is an in-office position reporting to the Office Manager, ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in the legal field. Key Responsibilities:
✅ Mail & Document Management: Sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and legal documents.
✅ Office Support: Assist with filing, scanning, copying, and organizing case materials.
✅ Administrative Assistance: Support attorneys and staff with various administrative tasks.
✅ Client Interaction: Handle basic inquiries and provide friendly assistance to clients and visitors.
✅ Office Operations: Help maintain a tidy and efficient workspace.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Interest in the legal field – no prior legal experience required, just a willingness to learn!
✔ Strong organizational skills – you’ll be handling important documents.
✔ Attention to detail – accuracy is key in a legal setting.
✔ Reliable & proactive – someone who takes initiative and gets things done.
✔ Basic computer skills – familiarity with Microsoft Office and scanning software is a plus.
