Ferretti Search is partnering with a global leader in clean industrial technology to find their next Industrial Automation & IIoT Engineer. This is a high-impact, high-visibility engineering opportunity with a company that’s scaling up its digital footprint and investing heavily in smart automation and sustainability-focused solutions.
What will your day look like?
- Program, implement, and optimize PLC and DCS systems (primarily Siemens) in support of customer projects.
- Design and deploy IoT/Industry 4.0 solutions that connect sensors, capture real-time plant data, and improve uptime.
- Develop operator training simulations and work closely with internal and customer-facing engineering teams.
- Serve as a technical resource for cloud integrations, automation strategy, and predictive maintenance dashboards.
- Own documentation, diagnostics, and system validation processes.
Who are you?
- Engineer at the Core: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- PLC/DCS Specialist: Minimum of 5 years’ experience programming Siemens systems (S7-1200, S7-1500, TIA Portal); additional experience with Rockwell, Allen-Bradley, or Honeywell is a plus.
- Digitally Fluent: Familiar with IoT platforms, edge devices, and network protocols (Profinet, Profibus). Bonus points for exposure to Azure IoT or AWS IoT.

- Team Player: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You collaborate well across engineering, operations, and customer-facing teams.
