Information Technology Manager

Theery is seeking an experienced and proactive Information Technology Manager to lead the internal systems and support operations at its on-site facility in Hawthorne, CA. This role is designed for a dynamic IT professional ready to establish efficient tech workflows, manage infrastructure, and ensure the seamless operation of the company’s internal technology ecosystem. As the IT Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of Theery's internal IT systems while supporting a growing and innovative team.

Key Responsibilities:

IT & Systems Management:

• Create, enforce, and maintain internal IT policies, focusing on security practices such as device encryption, password management, and asset tracking.

• Manage deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of both hardware and software company-wide.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal tech support, solving routine problems and escalating complex issues to third-party vendors as needed.

• Develop detailed documentation for internal IT systems, workflows, tools, and protocols for consistency and compliance.

Cross-Team Collaboration:

• Identify inefficiencies, friction points, and bottlenecks in internal technology processes; lead the implementation of optimized solutions.

• Manage the onboarding experience for new employees, ensuring timely setup of equipment, tools, accounts, and access rights.

• Partner with functional team leads to streamline systems and promote scalable, efficient operational practices.

• Encourage a collaborative and organized work culture by supporting communication platforms and knowledge management systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Thorough understanding of internal IT operations, including provisioning, cybersecurity, and helpdesk support.

• Experience with tools and systems such as Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and license/asset management platforms.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical details clearly and effectively.

• Self-driven with a problem-solving mindset, capable of managing multiple tasks and taking projects to completion without close supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Operations, or related discipline.

• Proven experience managing internal systems or leading cross-functional IT support projects.

• Background in technical environments within aerospace, defense, or hardware-intensive industries.
