Description:
The Website Administrator - Multimedia Technologist is responsible for providing web services and operating support for the museum's Drupal-based, public-facing website and consulting across a broad range of graphics, video, audio, mobile, streaming, and other multimedia technologies.
In this position, you will:
- Advise museum staff on existing and emerging web, mobile, and multimedia technologies, products, and trends.
- Review and make recommendations for integrating new software tools, maintain the web site and mobile apps, enhance the user experience, and increase administrative efficiency.
- Perform the day-to-day operational support for the museum’s website: create, configure, integrate, maintain, enhance, deploy, upgrade, and administer the website operating on a Drupal platform.
- Develop elegant, intuitive user interfaces (UX), web applications, workflows, and analytics.
- Perform system design, web application baselining, testing, quality assurance, SEO optimization, IT security vulnerability remediation, implementation, and documentation.
