You'll lead an experienced team of talented engineers, fostering a culture where innovation and excellence thrive. Your role is about providing day-to-day technical guidance, strategic direction and building a collaborative environment. You trust your team to deliver on the hands-on implementation of on-prem and cloud environments necessary for the delivery of our real-time products.
- Infrastructure & Operations: Oversee the management, maintenance, and security of all IT infrastructure, including networks (LAN/WAN, VPN), servers (on-premise and cloud).
- People Management: Lead talent acquisition, employee development, and retention, while fostering a collaborative environment where team members are empowered to take ownership, drive change, and prioritize well-being.
- Financial Management: Strategically managing the NetOps IT budget, optimizing costs, evaluating investments, and overseeing procurement to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with business objectives and Trimble values.
- Strategic Business Engagement: Provide technical and strategic expertise for projects, pre-sale activities, and contracts, aiming to achieve key business objectives based on company and sector strategies.
- Resilience: Be a leader with a proven ability to define and execute future-proof IT strategies, drive digital transformation, and architect scalable solutions for continuous improvement.
- Service Operations: Ensure the security, integrity, availability, and quality of Trimble's GNSS correction services and related software products.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
- Proven Leadership: Extensive experience in a service operations, data engineering, or similar leadership role.
- IT Architecture Expertise: High-level understanding of IT architecture, traditional on-premise server stacks, and cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Strong understanding of industry best practices as it pertains to Cyber Security and Compliance standards.
- Team Leadership: 5+ years of people leadership experience with the ability to build, mentor, and inspire high-performing technical teams.
- Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to partner effectively across diverse technical and business teams.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
