Inside Sales Representative

Description:

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their team in Cortlandt Manor, NY. This role is ideal for an ambitious, customer-focused professional with an interest in sales and the equipment rental industry.

As an Inside Sales Rep, you will be a key liaison for customers at the branch, responsible for managing relationships, recommending equipment and service solutions, generating quotes, and ensuring successful order fulfillment. You will actively contribute to branch growth by identifying leads, servicing walk-in and call-in customers, and maintaining a well-stocked and presentable showroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process rental quotations, reservations, and contracts.

• Establish new sales and rental accounts through direct customer interaction.

• Negotiate prices on rentals and supplies following company pricing guidelines.

• Coordinate delivery dispatch and manage customer delivery expectations.

• Generate and share leads with the Outside Sales team.

• Re-engage lost or dormant accounts to retain business.

• Maintain showroom cleanliness and merchandise levels.

• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.

• Strong interpersonal and customer relationship-building skills.

• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and detail orientation.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
