Inside Sales Representative

Description:

Crescent Electric Supply Company is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join its team in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves engaging with customers to respond to inquiries, close profitable sales orders, process incoming orders, and ensure that customer needs are met efficiently and effectively. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to sales and service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Selling a wide range of products and services, with an emphasis on upselling and offering add-on solutions to maximize customer satisfaction.

• Suggesting alternative products when customer-requested items are unavailable to ensure uninterrupted service.

• Working collaboratively with branch personnel to provide competitive quotations and meet sales targets.

• Executing all sales activities ethically and professionally to uphold the company’s reputation.

• Managing orders through to completion, ensuring proper communication and follow-through on commitments regarding product delivery or required information.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

• Sales experience preferred; training or an equivalent combination of education and experience is also considered.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and stooping; occasional sitting, talking, and hearing.

• Frequent use of hands and fingers.

• Continuous lifting/carrying of 1–20 lbs; frequent lifting of 21–50 lbs; occasional lifting of 51–100 lbs (buddy-lift or mechanical assistance advised).
