Instructional Designer

 

Description:

In this role, you will design and develop high-quality leadership training content tailored for technical professionals. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, research and curate content, and create engaging learning experiences delivered through online platforms and hybrid facilitated events.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop leadership development training programs for technical audiences, ensuring content is engaging, relevant, and impactful.
  • Interview technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather insights and translate them into comprehensive leadership development materials.
  • Create instructional assets, including workshops, multimedia content, quick reference guides, and e-learning modules to support leadership training initiatives.
  • Curate and structure learning experiences from both internal and external content sources to align with business needs.
  • Evaluate and enhance training programs using qualitative and quantitative data, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Maintain learning assets, including content updates and site maintenance, to ensure materials remain current and effective.
  • Actively participate in team sprints, providing expertise in instructional design to contribute to new content development.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leadership development training, with a strong track record of designing and delivering leadership-focused learning experiences.
  • Strong instructional design expertise, including knowledge of adult learning principles, curriculum development, and digital learning tools.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects without requiring constant direction.
  • Experience interviewing SMEs and translating technical concepts into accessible leadership development content.
  • Stable work history demonstrating commitment to instructional design and leadership training roles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build credibility with technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in online learning platforms, multimedia content creation, and instructional design tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, LMS platforms).
