Description:

The ideal candidate will develop, write, and edit material for training guides, presentations, training courses, and training material to support classroom instruction. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable in public speaking and technical presentations. Two years verifiable experience in the technical training field is required. A solid understanding of maritime engineering and shipboard systems is preferred. The ideal candidate can read and understand construction drawings, technical publications and identify installed equipment used in shipboard systems. Must be proficient in MS Office Suite. Advanced applications such as AutoCAD, Photoshop and SGML editors are a plus. Military and/or commercial marine engineering experience is highly desired. Travel is required for this position.
