What You’ll Do:
- Defend insureds in NJ Superior Court, managing premises liability cases involving slip-and-fall claims and NJ property law violations.
- Draft coverage opinions for commercial general liability policies, evaluating duty-to-defend issues for insurers in multi-party disputes.
- Conduct depositions of plaintiffs and expert witnesses, preparing strategies to dispute causation in bodily injury lawsuits.
- Advise insurers on regulatory compliance, responding to NJ Department of Banking and Insurance inquiries to mitigate risks of enforcement actions.
- Prepare for trial by drafting pre-trial briefs and witness outlines, collaborating with senior partners on defense strategies in high-exposure cases.
