Description:

EY is actively seeking a Senior Integration Platform Developer to join its Government Sector Consulting team within the AI & Data practice. This position focuses on the design, implementation, and optimization of event-driven architectures, API integrations, and microservices to enable real-time data communication and strategic digital transformation initiatives for government clients.

The successful candidate will architect and lead the development of secure, scalable, and high-performing integration platforms utilizing tools like Kafka, API gateways, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native technologies. You will play a key role in mentoring junior staff, defining best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to transform business needs into robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement Kafka-based event-driven systems for real-time data processing

  • Design and deploy microservices that are scalable, resilient, and maintainable

  • Set up API management and secure data exchange platforms

  • Collaborate with solution architects, business analytics teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver integrated solutions

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments

  • Mentor junior developers and maintain documentation of processes and integration standards

  • Stay current with emerging technologies in EDA, microservices, and cloud ecosystems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep experience with Kafka, EDA, microservices, and API development

  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Go

  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift

  • Cloud experience preferred, ideally with Microsoft Azure

  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring teams and leading integration architecture

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
