Open Road is currently seeking a highly detail-oriented, analytical, and impact-driven Analyst to support its Investment and Portfolio teams. This full-time role is vital in managing financial data and supporting the loan process from application through to repayment. The Analyst will serve as a critical contributor to investment strategy, working with borrowers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations across the investment lifecycle.

This position requires a strong foundation in financial data analysis, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative spirit. The ideal candidate will be passionate about impact investing and eager to grow their expertise in business development, loan origination, and portfolio management. As part of a small, agile team, flexibility, ownership, and a “hands-on” attitude are key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the applicant pipeline, loan disbursement, repayment, and impact reporting processes

• Maintain and manage data systems to ensure integrity and accuracy

• Assist in business development, due diligence, and relationship management

• Analyze complex financial structures, assess risks, and support investment decision-making

• Engage with both internal and external stakeholders with clear and concise communication

• Manage cross-functional projects and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus

• 2–4 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or impact investing

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including proficiency in reading financial statements

• Experience with project management and working across teams

• Excellent attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office suite

• Familiarity with Salesforce and tools like Asana and Slack is advantageous

• Comfortable working remotely and independently within a small, mission-driven team

Location Details:
While remote work is accepted, preference is given to candidates based in Washington, DC, or New York City, to enable regular in-person collaboration.
