As an Investment Banking Associate, you will play a crucial role supporting senior bankers through all stages of transaction execution, business development, and client relationship management. Your responsibilities will span preparing pitch materials, conducting in-depth industry and financial research, performing complex financial analysis and modeling, managing buyer outreach, coordinating due diligence, and facilitating smooth deal closings.
This position requires strong critical thinking, excellent communication, the ability to work independently and in teams, and comfort in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. The role offers significant hands-on experience and opportunities for growth within an entrepreneurial and high-impact setting.
Conduct detailed financial analysis and build sophisticated financial models to support transactions.
Prepare client-facing materials, including presentations, executive summaries, and financial schedules.
Manage key phases of the deal process, ensuring smooth coordination and execution.
Track client and deal activities using CRM tools, providing timely updates to senior team members.
Coordinate the preparation and management of diligence materials and virtual data rooms.
Facilitate the preparation and execution of NDAs and other essential transaction documentation.
Manage buyer correspondence and prepare thorough responses to diligence inquiries.
Perform industry research, buyer universe mapping, and valuation analysis.
Support presentations and meetings with prospective clients.
Mentor junior team members and conduct quality control on deliverables.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Strategic Consulting, Corporate Development, Accounting, Media, or related industries.
Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate complex information.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
High professionalism, integrity, and commitment to quality outcomes.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Knowledge or experience in marketing, advertising, media, e-commerce, and technology sectors is preferred but not mandatory.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
FINRA licenses (SIE, Series 79, and Series 63) are strongly preferred but not required.
