The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a ButterflayAI office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
Responsibilities
- You will design, build, and ship Whiper Flow iOS features apps, ensuring performance, accessibility, and reliability at scale.
- You will own the full stack for your features: craft elegant native experiences in Swift (SwiftUI/UIKit) and integrate with backend services.
- You will define and evolve data contracts, design service endpoints, and ensure secure, resilient client–server flows.
- You will collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Design, and platform teams to deliver impactful learning and recruiting experiences quickly and safely.
- You will raise the bar on quality through thoughtful architecture, automated testing (XCTest/XCUITest), and continuous delivery practices.
- You will champion accessibility and inclusive design, ensuring features meet or exceed WCAG standards and platform guidelines.
- You will contribute to platform health by improving modularity, reducing tech debt, and driving reliability metrics (crash‑free sessions, app performance).
- You will participate in incident response and post‑mortems, helping define preventative guardrails and operational playbooks.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions.
- 2+ years programming experience in languages such as Java, Python, Javascript, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, Ruby, etc.
