About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled iOS Engineer to join the Fleets Product Area, supporting four product teams focused on third-party integrations and user experiences impacting drivers and riders.
You’ll collaborate with senior and staff-level iOS, Android, and Server Engineers from both Mobile Infrastructure and Product Teams, building scalable and reliable features used by millions of users.
This role is ideal for someone who can ramp up quickly, deliver high-quality code fast, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Senior and Staff iOS Engineers to adopt new Apple APIs and resolve blockers.
- Gain rapid understanding of product context, codebase, and architecture to drive delivery.
- Write well-crafted, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.
- Participate actively in code reviews, ensuring high standards and knowledge sharing.
- Support team members by identifying issues early and fostering a collaborative engineering culture.
- Contribute to the continuous integration and bi-weekly release process, incorporating A/B testing, analytics, and feature flagging.
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, focused on iOS development.
- Proven experience building and shipping large-scale iOS applications.
- Deep expertise in Swift and iOS frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Reactive Programming (e.g., Combine, RxSwift)
- Declarative UI frameworks – SwiftUI
- Unit Testing & Snapshot Testing
- Modular Architecture and Shared Components Development
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines and Automated Testing.
- Strong understanding of App Store release management, beta testing, and analytics-driven development.
