Description:

ECLARO is hiring an experienced IT Asset Management CMBD Analyst to support its client in delivering superior IT services within the public sector. This contract-based remote position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment focused on IT Service Management and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) operations.

This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, have strong ITIL process understanding, and can thrive under pressure while collaborating with diverse teams across the IT landscape.

Position Overview:

The CMDB Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring high-quality data standards are upheld, and collaborating across teams to enhance overall IT Service Management efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CMDB Maintenance:

    • Manage and maintain the CMDB ensuring data is accurate, complete, and meets compliance requirements.

  • Quality Control:

    • Conduct regular audits, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and correct data to maintain integrity.

  • Collaboration:

    • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure CMDB alignment with broader IT operations and service delivery goals.

  • Analysis and Reporting:

    • Generate regular reports and conduct data analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities to enhance CMDB processes and implement improvements that align with ITIL best practices.

Qualifications:

Technical:

  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes for CMDB management.

  • Hands-on experience with ISM tools.

  • Familiarity with ITIL v4 Foundations certification (required).

  • Background in process design and improvement methodologies.

  • Proficiency in IT tools related to configuration and asset management.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).

  • Critical thinking, analytical mindset, and organizational capabilities.

  • Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and service quality.

  • Comfortable working independently and in teams under tight deadlines.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.


Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $25/hour

  • Monthly Estimate: $4000 (based on 160 working hours)
