This role must be performed in Minneapolis, MN, however a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities

- Build, manage, and grow a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities across target verticals (Financial Services, Retail, Agri/Food, MedTech, Manufacturing, etc.)
- Cultivate C-level relationships with enterprise clients and position CGI as a trusted strategic partner
- Lead strategic pursuits from identification to deal closure, leveraging CGI’s global capabilities and industry-aligned solution offerings
- Partner closely with consulting, delivery, and marketing teams to align business development efforts with client needs and metro strategy
- Represent CGI in the local market through events, forums, and thought leadership opportunities
- Deliver on individual and metro-wide revenue and margin targets
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
What you'll bring
- 10+ years of experience in IT consulting/services business development (non–staff augmentation)
- Proven success developing new enterprise clients and closing complex services/solutions deals
- Experience working with or selling into major clients in the MSP metro area a strong plus
- Strong understanding of technology trends, enterprise challenges, and digital transformation
- Executive-level presence with exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build, execute and maintain new client penetration and development strategies and plans
- Excellent presentation skills
- High attention to detail and ability to learn and understand technical concepts
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus
