🚨 Hiring: IT Operations & Systems Monitoring Analyst 
We are looking for an experienced IT Operations & Systems Monitoring Analyst to join a 24x7 operations team supporting critical systems for a New York State client in the Transit sector.
This is an on-site, in-person opportunity in Downtown Brooklyn, with responsibilities spanning systems monitoring, alarm and alert management, incident/ticket management, scripted job execution, and infrastructure troubleshooting.

🔹 Key Responsibilities
Monitor critical hardware, software, servers, databases, and infrastructure systems
Monitor CPU, memory, disk space, server health, and environmental conditions
Monitor facility temperature alerts, HP servers, and APC NetBotz devices
Monitor Oracle and SQL databases and identify potential system issues
Configure and optimize alarms and alerts to reduce nuisance notifications and eliminate “white noise”
Ensure critical alerts are routed to the appropriate teams
Open and manage incident/service tickets and assist System Administrators with resolution
Execute pre-written scripted jobs across Windows, Linux, and AS/400 environments
Assist in developing and improving tools for monitoring critical systems
Support troubleshooting of infrastructure and operational issues
Communicate clearly with technical teams and stakeholders via phone and email
Assist with field hardware selection, installation, upgrades, and monitoring when required
Work with IT facility managers across multiple locations
Travel to client facilities and field locations may be required
