It Project Manager

Signature IT World Inc is seeking a Project Manager to oversee maintenance and operations (M&O) work on a large-scale Integrated Eligibility system for a State Medicaid agency in Charleston, West Virginia. This is a hybrid position, requiring on-site presence 3 days per week, and the ideal candidate will bring significant experience in healthcare IT, especially within government-funded programs like Medicaid.

You will join an 8-person PMO team managing a broader workforce of over 122 M&O staff and 16 additional enhancement-focused resources. The role involves full life cycle project management, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and enhancement of ongoing operational systems. You must possess PMP certification, strong client-facing communication skills, and a proven track record managing large-scale IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead projects related to large-scale system implementations and enhancements.

• Anticipate project issues and proactively implement solutions.

• Document project deliverables, maintain business flows, and track lessons learned.

• Liaise between business and technical teams to ensure clear project objectives and execution.

• Manage dependencies across cross-functional teams.

• Optimize processes to enhance value and performance throughout the project lifecycle.

• Represent project status and risks to client and internal leadership.

• Resolve project-related issues with key client stakeholders and internal leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• PMP Certification is mandatory.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management.

• Minimum 3 years of direct client-facing experience.

• Experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.

• Minimum 2 years of experience with State Medicaid Agency or large healthcare organization projects.

• Proven ability to manage and resolve issues in complex healthcare IT environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on Integrated Eligibility systems.

• Experience in the Maintenance & Operations (M&O) phase of project lifecycle.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project and Visio.

• Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Interview Process:

• 2–3 rounds via video interview focused on project management capabilities and healthcare IT background.

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET
