For this position, individuals must also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

  • Responsible for planning, managing, and evaluating the Center's technology systems and the technology services which support the Center's production mission, operations, and administration.
  • Applies business and technical expertise to enable organizational optimization of secure IT services in an agile development environment, employing constant monitoring and implementing DEVSECOPS principals.
  • Applies leadership abilities to establish human capital plans that manage and maintain technical acumen among a diverse workforce while implementing continual process improvement strategies in IT business operations and customer services.
  • Aligns capital equipment programming with organizational cloud adoptions plans while implementing a portfolio based approach to delivering IT services and capabilities.
  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
