About the role:

We are seeking a talented Junior Art Director to join our in-house creative team working on everyday skincare brands. We are an in-house creative team within a large beauty brand in LA, dedicated to crafting visual magic. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do and we believe in the strength of teamwork and the benefits of creative minds working together. We are constantly growing our team, welcoming fresh perspectives and talent to join us on our creative journey. Ranging from crafting content for digital & social platforms to in-store advertising, e-commerce, and event coverage. Our creative scope keeps expanding as we go.

Our team comes together twice a week onsite for those essential internal shoots that bring our ideas to life & essential meetings.

What you will be doing:

• Create stunning visuals and engaging content that captivates our audience
• Shape our brand's visual identity and elevate our content creation efforts
• Collaborate closely with our creative team to design and art direct photoshoots for products, stylized textures ensuring the aesthetic aligns with our brand identity
• Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and retouchers and editors to create visually appealing content
• Conceptualize and execute innovative ideas for social media campaigns and other digital platforms
• Design and produce eye-catching graphics and visuals for various digital marketing initiatives
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate fresh ideas into our creative projects
• Ability to articulate and pitch conceptual and directional choices to clients
• Review and ensure creative aligns with brand guidelines maintaining consistency and quality

What you need to be great:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field
• 1+ years of experience on digital design, content creation, and art direction
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
• Creative thinking and a keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Background in skincare/beauty/fashion desired, but not required
