Description:
The position will require the candidate to help create estimates and help manage new client interactions. The position is based in our office in East Brunswick, NJ and is available as a part-time or full-time position.
Job Description:
- Take offs on all sized projects
- Assists in generating budget research for estimating time, costs, special orders, etc.
- Maintain contact with bidding GC’s and architects on clarification of scope on projects in estimating
- Produce new project folders with appropriate paperwork and signed documents.
- Assists in maintaining of weekly sales report and weekly staff meeting report.
- Assist in managing inquiries, pending projects and samples mailed
- Assist in follow up on Estimates/Proposals, Leads, Projects, Deposits, etc.
- Contact with clients, following new client leads and maintaining client relationships
- Coordinate with estimating on gathering necessary information (drawings) so project can be released for pricing
- Meet with Project Manager, Production Manager and Estimating to discuss kick-off project files and ensure that all of the Sales requirements are met.
- Complete actions needed after Close-Out meeting to ensure follow up requirements were fulfilled.
- Assists with organizing photo opportunities of completed projects.
- Learn how our products are made.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawing sets.
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Educational background in Architecture, Construction, Interior Design, or similar.
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- Work experience with Architectural or Construction projects. (Recent grads and current students welcome)
- CRM experience a plus
- Proficiency with AutoCAD a plus
