Junior/ Grad Radiation Test Engineer / Electrical Engineer

 

Description:

As a Radiation Test Engineer, you will support the design, development, and execution of test systems and methodologies for evaluating microelectronics performance in extreme environments. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and scientists and gain exposure to cutting-edge research and national-level defense projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, simulation, and development of test circuits and printed circuit boards (PCBs) for component evaluation.
  • Contribute to the development of automated test programs for component characterization.
  • Operate lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, analyzers) to collect and review test data.
  • Collaborate on technical reports, specifications, and documentation.
  • Support ongoing project tracking and status reporting.
  • Participate in design and analysis reviews with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation and testing standards.
  • Engage in cross-functional meetings to align testing processes with program requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Familiarity with lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, and signal analyzers.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented and open to mentoring from experienced engineers.
  • Organized and capable of managing multiple projects or tasks.
  • Interest in microelectronics, test engineering, and system-level problem-solving.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
