Junior Project Coordinator

 

Description:

As our client's Junior Project Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our client's project management team, providing essential support in the transition to a planned hours system within Workfront. You'll gain valuable experience in project coordination, data management, and process improvement, working alongside seasoned project managers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Workfront Support: Assist the PM team with adding tasks and assignments, updating schedules and job steps, and managing project assignments within Workfront. Become a Workfront whiz!
  • Request Queue Management: Review and categorize request queues to ensure efficient and organized workflow.
  • Timeline Transition: Support the crucial transition of previous system timelines into active projects within Workfront.
  • Template Development: Assist in the development of templated timelines incorporating planned hours, ensuring consistency and efficiency across projects.
  • Training Material Creation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of training materials for the project management team, empowering them to effectively utilize the new system.
  • Transition Support: Provide vital support during the planning and execution phases of the transition to using planned hours, ensuring a smooth and successful implementation.

 

 

Requirements:

 

• Some experience in project coordination or administration.

• Basic knowledge of Workfront or similar project management tools.

• Expertise in Microsoft 365.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
