Talient Solutions is hiring a Global Key Account Manager – Electronics for a world-leading coatings and sealants company with annual revenues of $3.5 billion and a presence in over 140 countries. This hybrid position is based in Cupertino, CA, and offers a unique opportunity to shape customer strategies, drive business growth, and work with cutting-edge technology solutions in the electronics industry.

In this high-impact role, you will spearhead business development efforts, manage key accounts across the electronics market, and help deliver customized solutions that meet client needs while maintaining profitability. You will act as a key strategic partner for high-value clients, working closely with R&D, materials teams, and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development (60% prospecting): Research and identify customer needs and untapped opportunities within key accounts; drive pipeline growth across targeted markets.

  • Account Management: Manage and optimize a portfolio of regional accounts, aligning internal teams with client goals to ensure mutual success.

  • Strategic Planning: Create and execute data-driven account strategies; collaborate with technical and product development teams to meet evolving market demands.

  • Customer Engagement: Build strong, consultative relationships with customers, understand their long-term business strategies, and negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Value Creation: Drive performance through innovative solutions, tailored pricing strategies, and service excellence to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (any discipline)

  • 5+ years of business development experience in the electronics industry

  • Must reside in the Bay Area, CA

  • Results-driven with start-up or entrepreneurial background

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel internationally (up to 20%)

  • Physically capable of lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marketing, or Chemistry

  • 10+ years of experience in the electronics sector

  • Experience in electronics assembly involving chemicals, sensors, or handheld devices

  • Global electronics market exposure

  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com and FLIP pricing tools
