Description:
Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring Kitchen Leaders who are passionate about preparing delicious food, upholding food safety standards, and mentoring team members. As a Kitchen Leader, you'll be an integral part of a fast-paced restaurant team that thrives on collaboration, excellence, and the mission to make real, responsibly sourced food accessible to all.
In this role, you’ll oversee food preparation, train staff, manage kitchen cleanliness, and ensure proper equipment maintenance. You’ll lead by example, driving kitchen operations efficiently while fostering a positive, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and serve food in accordance with Chipotle’s high standards
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in the kitchen
Monitor inventory, minimize food waste, and address food quality concerns
Supervise and mentor crew members, fostering their growth into future Kitchen Leaders
Communicate effectively with staff and customers to ensure smooth operations and a great dining experience
Maintain kitchen equipment and promptly address maintenance needs
Complete safety-related documents such as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and practice FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory management
Promote a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with all food safety and OSHA regulations
What You’ll Bring:
Understanding of Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
Ability to read, write, and speak the primary language of the location
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior restaurant or kitchen experience (preferred, not mandatory)
Motivation, teamwork mindset, and a willingness to learn and grow

Hourly pay ranges from $21.25 to $23.65, depending on location, skills, and experience.
