Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader for its Cupertino, California location. This full-time position offers a hands-on leadership opportunity for individuals passionate about food quality, kitchen operations, and team development.

As a Kitchen Leader, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the food is freshly prepared, delicious, and compliant with Chipotle’s standards of safety and cleanliness. You will supervise back-of-house operations, maintain inventory, and support the development of team members, fostering a strong team dynamic that ensures a smooth and efficient kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure high food quality through proper preparation and adherence to procedures

• Cook and prep food to order while minimizing waste

• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and proper equipment functionality

• Monitor inventory levels and resolve any food quality or equipment issues

• Train and develop team members to prepare them for leadership roles

• Ensure safety protocols are followed to prevent injuries or accidents

• Complete kitchen documentation including MSDS and inventory rotation (FIFO)

• Effectively communicate with team members and support customer service efforts

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma

• Restaurant experience required

• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace

• Understanding of Chipotle’s “Food With Integrity” philosophy

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base hourly wage: $21.25–$23.65 USD (Monthly: $3,675–$4,099 USD)
