Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality food according to Chipotle’s standards and procedures.
Monitor and minimize food waste while ensuring inventory accuracy and freshness.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked kitchen throughout operations.
Ensure all food safety and sanitation protocols are followed consistently.
Train and mentor kitchen crew members, helping them grow into future Kitchen Leaders.
Collaborate effectively with both back-of-house (kitchen) and front-of-house (customer service) teams to ensure smooth service.
Maintain kitchen equipment and promptly report or resolve maintenance issues.
Complete daily safety documentation such as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Inventory Rotation (FIFO) records.
Promote teamwork and a positive workplace culture, keeping team morale and efficiency high.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong understanding and commitment to Chipotle’s "Food With Integrity" philosophy.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in the language(s) of the restaurant location.
Prior experience in food service, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Ability to lead by example, take initiative, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
