Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated, and service-driven individual to join our team as Design Support. This role is essential in providing administrative and design assistance to our showroom-based Kitchen & Bath Designers. Design Support team members play a key part in enhancing the overall client experience by ensuring that the design team can focus on what they do best – delivering creative solutions and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Sales Team Support:
- Assist designers in preparing client presentations, project designs, and supporting documentation.
- Create quotes and input data into our design and ordering systems.
- Process purchase orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Help maintain showroom appearance, including updating samples and displays.
Customer Engagement:
- Greet and assist showroom visitors with professionalism and warmth.
- Support clients throughout the design and installation journey by answering basic questions and helping relay messages to the design team.
- Ensure timely follow-up with customers by updating CRM systems and assisting with scheduling and communication.
Administrative Excellence:
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM and order management systems.
- Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and installers to support project timelines.
- Monitor order status and assist in resolving any delays or discrepancies.
- Support the team in day-to-day administrative tasks that keep operations running smoothly.
Growth & Development:
- Learn and develop proficiency in design tools such as 2020 Design.
- Shadow experienced designers to gain exposure to KSI’s design process and customer experience standards.
- If desired, prepare to grow into a full-time designer role through hands-on experience and mentorship.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of administrative, customer service, or order entry experience (required).
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Passion for interior design and interest in a long-term career in the industry.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to support others and grow in a collaborative environment.
- Associate’s degree or higher (preferred).
