Lab Technician

Description:

As a Lab Technician, you will be working in a balanced environment, splitting your time 50/50 between the plant floor and a lab setting. Your main duties will include conducting inspections such as Pre-Operative and Food Safety, performing daily operating inspections to ensure compliance with GMP's and USDA requirements, and performing Magnet and Metal Detector Record Checks.

• GMP
• Quality- food industry
• Biology and chemistry courses
• Calibrate Lab Scale, pH meter, salt analyzer
• Conduct ATP swab tests
• Perform Quality Audits
• Liaison with USDA

• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to document and report results
• Ability to follow and enforce Food Safety PPE/GMP requirements
   

Qualifications:
 

• B.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related Life Science
• Associates Degree
• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• GMP experience
