Land Origination Manager

Description:

Carter Maddox, the leading talent and growth partner for the Renewable Energy industry, are currently searching for a Land Origination Manager for one of the fastest growing Development companies in Renewables.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, negotiating, and securing land for projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively manage and control relationships with landowners, whilst working closely with the legal team to successfully secure land options.

The Role:

• Work with development team to strategise acquisition criteria
• Identify, appraise and secure suitable land for solar and BESS sites
• Manage, negotiate and secure land options and lease agreements. Including any other property agreements such as easements and right of way
• Establish and safeguard key relationships with Landowners, consultants and agents
• Collaborate closely with legal, development and EPC teams

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in real estate/title with knowledge of utility-scale solar or other renewables
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to travel to meet with landowners and conduct site visits whenever necessary
