Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation):

• Assist with invasive plant management and eradication using a variety of tools.

• Assist in the management of native plant communities.

• Assist with the mapping of invasive plant populations and rare plant species and communities.

• Perform data collection and data entry.

• Analyze GPS and aerial drone mapping surveys and incorporate into GIS maps to prioritize treatment of invasive plant populations.

• Assist in plant identification using taxonomic field guides.

• Assist with on-site coordination of contractors and local partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma OR GED and 6 months of related experience.

• Experience operating various types of equipment in a safe and efficient manner (e.g., hand tools, backpack sprayers).

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work.
