Description:
The Lead Applications Analyst, HR Technologies is responsible for developing and delivering technology initiatives to support the HR function at FBIN. This role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting reliable, secure, cost-effective HR technology solutions including Workday, Smart Recruiters, Glint, Kronos Workforce Dimensions, and their integrations with payroll, benefits, learning management, talent management, and other internal systems like Okta, BOX, SharePoint, etc. The position requires strategic and creative problem-solving, excellent communication, and technical expertise to maximize HR IT investments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead analysis of HR Tech business problems and provide technical solutions
Design, develop, test, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio and related tools
Ensure accurate, secure data synchronization across systems
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into solutions
Coordinate with internal IT, business teams, third-party vendors for integration development and troubleshooting
Lead biannual Workday release testing and deployment, including training and monitoring
Own strategic planning, architecture, design, development, and support of HR integrations
Work closely with Enterprise Architecture and Integration teams to ensure compliance with architectural standards
Implement cybersecurity controls and disaster recovery plans for HR applications
Promote standardization and integration across the FBIN Enterprise Applications suite
Report project statuses to HR and IT leadership
Produce high-quality documentation for requirements, solutions, and business cases
Manage enhancement requests, testing, and deployment processes
Create and optimize reports, integrations, and interfaces using tools such as SQR and Application Engines
Collaborate cross-functionally on projects as needed
Qualifications:
Characteristics & Attributes:
5-8 years hands-on technology experience in HR systems
Functional HR knowledge and/or Workday Certification is a plus
Strong technical knowledge of Workday integrations, including Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, Integration Cloud
Experience building best-practice based integrations with Workday and external/internal systems
Strong integration design and development skills
Data analysis and data cleansing skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with agile development and project management methodologies
Ability to work independently and in teams in a high-pressure environment
Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts in business-friendly terms
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
