Lead Construction Engineer

Description:

To continue IKOS’s growth and strengthen our team in the United States, we are recruiting a Construction Engineer with relevant experience in the telecom/rail/ITS sector keen to work on large-scale transit projects

Responsibilities:

• Perform field surveys, inspections, tagging, and labeling
• Coordinate site access with various subcontractors (e.g. Civil, Electrical)
• Lead the construction of turn-key radio towers
• Ensure proper electrical grounding on-site
• Interfacing with stakeholders
• Assist with project close-out/open items
• Resolve NCRs
• Other activities as assigned by the company and client

Qualifications:

Applicants for this position should have authorization to work in the U.S. legally.

• You must have at least a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Computer or Telecom Engineering (required)
• You have at least 2+ years of previous experience in field construction activities (Required)
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, drawings, diagrams, and bill-of-materials (BOMs) (Required)
• Experience with designing or testing LV communication systems
• Experience with Electrical Grounding (Required)
• Ability to commute to various bus depots, warehouses, and construction sites
• Have completed OSHA10 or OSHA30 training (Preferred)
